Section titled “Post Detail & Comments”The Post Detail screen provides a comprehensive view of any conservation project or wildlife crime incident. It features an image carousel, expandable content sections, action buttons, and a threaded comment system. It supports two content types: ET Partners (conservation solutions) and Wildlife Crime (incident reports).
Key Capabilities
Section titled “Key Capabilities”Content Display
Section titled “Content Display”- Image Carousel — Horizontal scroll with paging, dot indicators, and video playback links
- Project Type Badge — Color-coded badge showing the project category
- Status Dot — Visual indicator of verification/publishing status
- Location & Author — Geographic region and contributor information
- Stars Display — EarthTeam Stars associated with the project
Content Sections (Expandable)
Section titled “Content Sections (Expandable)”- Basic Info — Organization, dates, status, website
- Tags — Categorization tags for filtering
- Description — Rich text description with subsections
- Contact Info — Organization contact details
- Sources — Reference links and citations
Wildlife Crime Detail (Alternate Layout)
Section titled “Wildlife Crime Detail (Alternate Layout)”- Event Type — Classification of the crime incident
- Date & Location — When and where it occurred
- Species Details — Common name, scientific name, CITES appendix listing
- Animal Condition — Status of affected animals
- Sources — Reference documentation
Social Features
Section titled “Social Features”- Like/Unlike — Toggle upvote on posts
- Comment — View and add threaded comments
- Reply — Reply to existing comments in threaded view
- Share — Share post details externally
User Flow
Section titled “User Flow”- Tap a marker on the map or a card in list view
- See compact preview card (from map) or full detail page
- Swipe through images in the carousel
- Expand content sections (Basic Info, Tags, Description, etc.)
- Scroll to comments section
- Add a comment or reply to existing comments
- Like the post or share with others

How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”When you tap on a marker or card, the app reaches out to the EarthTeam servers to fetch the full post details and any images or videos associated with it. The content is organized into expandable sections so you can browse at your own pace — tap a section heading to reveal more information. Every like, comment, reply, or share you make is sent back to the servers, which update the post in real time so the community always sees the latest activity.
