gAIa (AI Oracle)

🔨 Coming Soon — The full AI chat experience is in active development. A placeholder screen currently exists in the app.

gAIa (formerly “AI Oracle”) is EarthTeam’s intelligent conservation assistant. Named after Gaia — the Greek primordial goddess of the Earth — gAIa provides personalized guidance, answers questions about conservation projects, recommends learning paths, and helps users navigate the EarthTeam platform. Powered by advanced language models, gAIa keeps getting smarter as more conservation knowledge is connected to it.

  • Conversational Interface — Full-screen chat with message bubbles, typing indicators, and conversation history
  • Suggested Questions — Contextual prompts to help users get started
  • Citation Cards — AI responses include source citations from the knowledge base
  • Conversation Management — Multiple conversations, history browsing, and continuation
  • Multi-Language Speech-to-Text — Voice input in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Hindi
  • Powered by industry-leading speech recognition for accurate transcription
  • Persona Selection — Learner, Verifier, Busy Professional, and more
  • Experience Level — Tailored responses based on conservation expertise
  • Career Guidance — Internship matching, mentorship recommendations, learning paths
  • Continuous Learning — Adapts to user interactions over time
  • Conservation Knowledge — Manuals, case studies, regulatory documents all in one place
  • Smart Answers — Responses drawn from trusted conservation sources, with near-instant delivery

When you ask gAIa a question, it sends your message securely to the EarthTeam servers, where advanced language models generate a helpful response tailored to your conservation interests. If you enable voice input, your speech is transcribed and processed the same way. As you use the app more, gAIa learns your experience level and interests — so a beginner might get a gentle introduction to a topic while a seasoned verifier gets detailed technical guidance. In future updates, gAIa will draw from a dedicated library of conservation manuals and case studies to make its answers even more accurate and sourced.
