The EarthTeam mobile app puts conservation tools in the palm of your hand. Explore conservation projects on an interactive 3D globe, earn Stars rewards by completing verification tasks, chat with the gAIa AI assistant for guidance, and manage your digital wallet — all from your phone.

Design System

The app features a dark bioluminescent theme inspired by deep-sea biology and night-forest conservation work:

Deep void background across all screens
Amber gold accents for calls to action, highlights, and wallet balance
Mint glow for success states, verification badges, and secondary UI
Dark blue-gray cards with subtle glass-morphism effect
Lato typography — clean sans-serif for readability

Map Explorer

Full-screen interactive 3D globe showing conservation projects as color-coded markers across 7 categories. Switch between satellite and dark map styles, filter by project type and country, or search by name. A dedicated wildlife crime tracking mode highlights related reports. → Details

Post Detail & Comments

A rich detail view accessible from map markers and the list view. Displays full project information, image galleries, and threaded comments. You can also create new posts with text and photos. → Details

List View & Filters

A paginated, scrollable list of all conservation projects with category filters, text search, and sort options. An alternative to the map for browsing projects in a text-first format. → Details

gAIa chat

A conversational AI assistant that helps you with conservation questions, suggests projects, and guides you through verification tasks. Context-aware responses are powered by a knowledge base of conservation information. Basic feature set is live, with full capabilities in development. → Details

Verification Workflow

An end-to-end process: submit verification posts with photos and descriptions, verifiers review and approve or reject submissions, and Stars rewards are credited on approval. Includes verification history and status tracking. → Details

Wallet & Solana Integration

View your $ETC token balance, Stars balance, and transaction history. A read-only balance view that connects to the Solana blockchain. Full withdrawal and deposit features are also live. → Details

App Tour & Onboarding

An animated carousel shown on first launch that introduces key features: globe exploration, verification rewards, gAIa chat, and wallet. You can skip the tour or replay it later from settings.

Biometric Authentication

Use your fingerprint or face scan to log in instead of typing your password. Works on devices with biometric hardware and falls back gracefully on devices that don’t support it.

Treasure Chest Rewards

A gamified daily reward system: earn bonus Stars, build login streaks, and unlock animated reward reveals. Countdown timers show when the next reward becomes available. → Details

Profile & Leaderboards

Your profile shows your activity history, earned Stars, and contribution stats. Global leaderboards rank users by Stars earned, posts created, and verifications completed. → Details

Verification Marketplace

A dedicated marketplace listing pending verification tasks sorted by reward amount. Verifiers can browse available tasks, claim assignments, and track their queue. Filter by category, location, and minimum Star reward.

Wallet Withdrawal

Convert your Stars to $ETC tokens and send them to an external Solana wallet. Includes a confirmation dialog with network fee display and status tracking. Minimum withdrawal thresholds apply.

Wallet Deposit

Receive $ETC tokens directly into your in-app wallet. A QR code and wallet address are displayed for external transfers. Confirmation alerts appear on successful deposits.

Organization Wallet

A shared wallet for conservation organizations to receive and manage donations, distribute rewards to verifiers, and fund projects. Includes transaction history and balance overview.

Features In Development

Geotagged Photos 🚧 In Dev

Camera integration for posting photos with embedded location data. The map view will show photo thumbnails at their capture location, helping verify where conservation work is happening.

Voice Input 🚧 In Dev

Speech-to-text for creating posts, asking gAIa questions, and writing comments. Basic commands are processed on your device, while longer input is transcribed in the cloud. Multilingual support is planned.

gAIa — Full Feature Set 🚧 In Dev

An enhanced gAIa with conversation memory, contextual project recommendations, verification guidance, and multi-turn dialogue. Includes suggested prompts and follow-up question generation. → Details

Real-time push notifications for verification approvals, new followers, reward milestones, and project updates. You will be able to customize which types of notifications you receive.

Referral System 🔨 Coming Soon

Shareable referral links with unique codes. Both the referrer and referee earn rewards on the first verified action. A tracking dashboard shows conversion stats and earned bonus Stars, with tiered bonuses for power referrers.

User Levels & XP 🔨 Coming Soon

An XP-based leveling system: earn experience points for posts, verifications, referrals, and daily login streaks. Each level unlocks new features, badges, and reward multipliers. A progress bar on your profile shows your journey.

Verification Certificates 🔨 Coming Soon

Certificates minted on the Solana blockchain for each completed verification. Each certificate includes the date, location, and verifier information. Shareable as proof of conservation impact, viewable in a gallery on your profile.

Offline Verification Mode 🔨 Coming Soon

Submit verification posts without an internet connection. Photos and data are saved on your device and automatically uploaded when connectivity is restored. A visual indicator shows pending uploads.

Seed Phrase Backup & Recovery 🔨 Coming Soon

A guided 12-word seed phrase generated during wallet setup, with a recovery flow to restore your wallet on a new device. The seed phrase is protected by biometric lock and is never stored as plaintext on the EarthTeam servers.

Mobile Admin Screens 🔨 Coming Soon

Limited admin functionality on mobile: quick content moderation, user lookup, and notification broadcast. Role-based access control shows admin-only options to authorized users.

How It Works

When you use the EarthTeam mobile app, your device securely connects to the EarthTeam servers to fetch conservation project data, manage your account, and process transactions. Your login session is stored securely on your device so you don’t need to re-enter your password every time. The interactive map downloads tiles and project markers as you explore, with markers clustering together at a distance and fanning out as you zoom in for a clean experience. When you submit a verification post, your photos and location are sent to the servers where they are reviewed by other community members. Stars rewards and blockchain transactions are processed through the Solana network. A conversational AI powered by a knowledge base of conservation information helps answer your questions and guide your activities.
